Crystalens in Racine and Kenosha Wisconsin

The Crystalens implant is an advanced intraocular lens specially designed to allow your eye to focus on distance, near, and intermediate objects.

As we age our natural lens becomes rigid and our near focusing declines. Standard cataract surgery removes the lens and places a monofocal implant. Monofocal implants focus only at one distance, requiring the use of readers for reading and near tasks.

So you can see why we are so excited about this new implant. For the first time in years, cataract patients now have an option. Now you can decide whether or not to deal with glasses after cataract surgery! You will be able to focus similar to the manner you did when you were much younger.

Dr. Allen now offers this new lens as an option for Racine and Kenosha patients. Occasionally insurance restrictions may require surgery in a Milwaukee facility, but this is rare.

Schedule your free Medical Eye Evaluation with Dr. Allen to determine if you are a candidate. Allow 1 1/2 hours for consultation and evaluation. You should also bring your insurance cards so we can determine what portion of this new procedure may be covered by your insurance. Flex spending accounts can also be used to pay for your procedure.

Let Racine and Kenosha’s leaders in refractive and cataract surgery provide you with clear vision at all distances!
