About Dr. Najera Dr. Najera received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York and a master's degree in education from Harvard University. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 2001 and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Eye Institue of the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2006. She has lived in Wisconsin for almost 10 years. Dr. Najera's specialty interests include comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment. She is also committed to community outreach and educating patients of all ages about eye health and its relationship to overall physical well-being.
Along with her husband, who is also a physician, Dr. Najera enjoys raising her two small children in close-knit, family-friendly Wisconsin. As a family, they enjoy hiking, biking, jazz music and fierce board game competitions.
